The Client - Mountain View Tire (Our client since August 2005.)

It's been our privilege to work with the Mitsos family, owners of Mountain View Tire and Auto Service. We provide their quarterly On Hold Marketing productions, while our sister agency, WebArt, designed and built their last two websites, and provides their ongoing Website Marketing, Email Marketing, and Online Video.

The Production

This On Hold Marketing production features two music changes and three voices, one of which is the company's Vice President Chris Mitsos. The copy reinforces a few of the benefits MVT provides, and includes many reasons to visit MountainViewTire.com, including a chance to win a free oil change via the website's Heard On Hold link.

The Client's Thoughts

The Client - NAPA Auto Parts (Our client since January 1996.)

The Real Deal program is one of the benefits that NAPA offers its B-to-B customers. It allows auto repair shops to save money on the tools, equipment and supplies they need to serve their customers. A new set of Real Deal specials is offered every quarter, and we create a corresponding On Hold Marketing production for each.

The Style

As with NAPA's bi-monthly Sales Driver productions, we take a humorous approach with the Real Deal On Hold Marketing, too. B-to-B customers know they'll find what they need when they call NAPA, so rather than focus on everything NAPA can do for them, we work to create a fun, enjoyable on hold experience.

The Writer

Andrea Poteet conceives and writes the On Hold Marketing content for NAPA. "Andrea does great work for NAPA and her many other clients," said Director of BusinessVoice Steve Evert. "She's very funny, and incorporates humor effectively, while still informing callers about specific products and benefits."

The Client - MyOpenHouse.com (Our client since March 2013)

The Style

This fun, energetic On Hold Marketing production takes callers through several scenarios, from a pair of game shows, to an action hero film, to an operating room where a team of professionals works to revive a customer's credit score. We boosted the production value by adding several music styles, a handful of sound effects, and more than a dozen voices.

The Client - Binkelman (Our client since April 1996.)

Binkelman Corporation and its callers have been fans of our Humor On Hold™ since the mid-90s. "We have received many, many compliments on our on hold message,” wrote the company’s Rebecca Conrad. “Thanks for being so creative.” Our work for the company has also been recognized a handful of times by award show judges.

The Style

This particular On Hold Marketing production is unlike any we’ve ever created. It’s four minutes of what sounds like stream-of-consciousness thoughts on topics ranging from napping and canned chili to airborne snakes and jewelry crafted from missing teeth.

The Client - ProMedica (Our client since January 2009.)

We write and produce the On Hold Marketing for the ProMedica call center in Toledo, Ohio. We update the content quarterly.

The Style

The copy communicates how accessible ProMedica is via their many affiliated locations, health-related events, and online. It also reinforces that the ProMedica team is available to you and your family throughout the span of life, providing specialized care for newborns, senior citizens and every age in between. The classical music complements the theme used in ProMedica's broadcast advertising.

The Writer's Thoughts

The Client - NAPA Auto Parts (Our client since January 1996.)

We produce On Hold Marketing for many NAPA Auto Parts locations in several states. Based on each store's needs, we provide either a monthly Image production, a bi-monthly Sales Driver production, a quarterly Real Deal production, or a combination of those.

The Style 

Recently, we've taken a lighter approach with the NAPA copy, putting a humorous spin on parts, supplies and car care in general. It's a direction that's consistent with NAPA's current radio commercials.

The Writer's Thoughts 

"When writing the NAPA copy," said Creative Consultant Andrea Poteet, "my goal is to create brief, funny messages that make the caller wonder 'what did she just say?'
