About Our Client

Parker Steel was founded by Leo Goldner in 1955. In 1991, second-generation leader Paul Goldner identified an opportunity to differentiate the company. He began selling metric sized metals that didn’t require additional machining. Today, Parker Steel is the largest supplier of metric size metals in North America with more than 6,000 line items in stock.

What We Do

BusinessVoice has provided On Hold Marketing services to Parker Steel since 2003. “They like our Humor On Hold,” said writer Daniel DiManna, “but we’ve had to pull the humor back a bit so the content is more palatable to their typically older, more conservative callers.”

Daniel worked with the client and the BusinessVoice Program Manager to refine the humor and get it to a point that’s appropriate for Parker Steel’s brand. The client enjoys puns and our main contact has described Daniel’s as “very funny.”
