Who They Are

General RV is the nation’s largest family-owned RV dealer. The company operates 16 locations in eight states: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida and Utah.

General’s inventory includes travel trailers; fifth wheels; class A, B and C motorhomes; pop-up campers; teardrops and other types of recreational vehicles. They also provide service and sell RV parts.

How We Help

Our team has provided On Hold Marketing to General RV since 2016. To allow the team at each store to promote what’s most important to them, a contact at each location chooses messages from a custom General RV master list that we update annually. We then compile the pre-recorded messages into an On Hold Marketing production for each store.

Creative Consultant Bob Seybold: “For this production, we created a custom bed. It’s acoustic music mixed with nighttime nature sounds. We wanted it to remind callers of sitting around a fire at an RV campground listening to someone strumming a guitar.”
