What is Web Audio Messaging and why should I put it on my website?

Your website already gives visitors text and graphical information - things they can see. Web Audio Messaging reinforces your site’s visual elements with audible content. That’s important because a large percentage of the population absorbs information most effectively when it’s presented audibly.

Will Web Audio Messaging slow down my website or cause it to load slowly?

No. The audio is played by a small piece of hidden code that’s added to the pages. The actual audio file is hosted on and sent from our server, so the additional work your website has to do is negligible.

Does Web Audio Messaging change the look of my website?

The only visual change to any page with Web Audio Messaging is the addition of the small "control" strip that allows the message to be started, paused, or stopped. Otherwise the page does not change at all visually.

What do my site visitors need to hear Web Audio Messages?

To hear Web Audio Messaging, visitors will need computer speakers and Flash software. If visitors don't have Flash, they will be able to access a download page from the Web Audio Messaging control strip.

When will visitors to my site hear Web Audio Messaging?

Usually the messages play automatically when the visitor goes to the page, so they will hear them right away. If you’d prefer, we can make the messages play only when the visitor clicks on the play button in the control strip.

Do I have to put Web Audio Messaging on all the pages of my site?

You can put it on one, many, or all of your site's pages. The programs are flexible and you can select which pages you want to have the messages.

Can Web Audio Messaging be changed periodically?

Yes. The messages can be changed as often as you’d like. We offer scheduled updating programs that keep the content current, or you can have us change it only as the need arises.

Do I need a lot of technical expertise to have Web Audio Messaging on my site?
