Proactive Updating: A Defining Difference

If you’re comparing On Hold Messaging providers, you may have noticed that many offer “unlimited updates.” That means they’ll change your copy whenever YOU ask. But chances are, you won’t ask, and your messaging and music won’t get updated on a regular basis! OHM providers who are less concerned with your ongoing marketing success know this, so the “benefit” of unlimited updates often provides no real long-term value.

BusinessVoice is different. We want to update your On Hold Messaging production as often as scheduled because we’re confident that fresh, pertinent copy makes your OHM a more effective marketing tool…and that makes you a happier client.

“Thank you for your excellent services and making me look like
I was working hard.” - Darrell Hibjan / Pilkington

During the program design phase of your program, we’ll work with you to establish an update schedule. Your BusinessVoice copywriter will contact you proactively every time you’re due for an update, then work to drive the updating process to completion.

You wouldn’t air the same radio or TV commercial, or run the same print ad for a year or two. Why use the same On Hold Messaging production that long? Your callers want current information that’s focused on their changing needs. With proactive updating from BusinessVoice, you can give it to them.

Account Management

Before we initiate service for our Key and Major clients we hold an on-premise hand-over meeting. Members of the BusinessVoice account team meet with the new client to finalize the timeline, the program roll-out, and other post-sales responsibilities. Hand-over meetings greatly decrease future miscommunication and are a good opportunity for both our team and the client’s to meet face-to-face.

At specific points in the term, our Key and Major clients receive Program Reviews, written reports that detail the current status of the program, explore any concerns, and present possible new marketing opportunities.

The account team also meets at scheduled intervals for in-house Account Reviews, and at least once per term at the client’s location.
