On Hold Marketing creates a positive experience for Sun Federal Credit Union members who may need to be placed on hold during a conversation with a member service representative. Beth Cook, the Senior Marketing Specialist for Sun Federal, puts herself in her members’ shoes when she thinks about what to include on hold.
By thinking like a member, Beth is able to craft messages that educate and entertain callers, and deliver "a-ha" moments when callers realize Sun Federal offers something they need.

In addition to Automated Call Distribution and On Hold Marketing, Sun Federal also uses direct mail postcards, printed newsletters, statement enclosures, letters and newspaper advertising in the Toledo and Philadelphia areas to inform members about their latest promotions.

Over the last 20 years, there has been an increase in the number of places people can go for financial services. Still, by maintaining an open dialogue with members, delivering requested services and providing trusted advice, Sun Federal has experienced member growth.
Sun Federal has added locations to serve their growing membership, utilized current technology to benefit members, improved member experiences, and added a University for employee training.
