BusinessVoice Wins National Award

The people at BusinessVoice have built an industry-leading company simply by talking to callers on hold. BusinessVoice is a Toledo-based Point-Of-Entry Marketing agency that provides On Hold Messaging and other services to 6,000 client locations throughout the United States. And, once again, they’ve been recognized for their creative approach to on hold marketing.

The Silver Microphone Awards has named BusinessVoice the National Winner of the Audio Program category for its 2005 competition. The winning entry was a humorous on hold tribute to talk radio, and featured jingles, phony commercials, unusual traffic and stock market reports, and an interview with BusinessVoice president Jerry Brown. The win represents the fourth time the agency has received the category’s top trophy since 1998. BusinessVoice was also honored with a pair of National Finalist awards for two other On Hold Messaging entries.

The Silver Microphone Awards celebrates the nation’s best local and regional radio commercials and audio programs, as submitted by advertising agencies, production houses and radio stations. This is the 21st year for the national competition, which rewards excellence in copywriting, performing talent, audio production, creativity and overall effectiveness.

BusinessVoice serves clients nationwide with comprehensive Point-Of-Entry Marketing services, including On Hold Messaging, Point-Of-Purchase Audio Marketing, and Web Audio Messaging. Founded in 1989, BusinessVoice is an active member of the international On Hold Messaging Association.
