After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree, Scott enjoyed a ten-year radio career, working on-air and as a writer / producer. During that time, he also struck out on his own as a freelance voiceover talent. It was that work that led him to BusinessVoice (then PowerHouse Productions) in the early 1990s.

After serving as one of our voices, Scott joined our Creative department as a Copywriter in 1993. He was promoted to the position of Creative Director in 1996. In the years since, he has written, voiced and/or produced dozens of award-winning On Hold Messaging scripts. The honors range from local and regional Crystal and ADDY Awards, to national Communicator and Silver Microphone Awards, to an Innovative Marketing award from The One Show in New York City. His work even won one of the first two Holdie Awards presented by the On Hold Messaging Association.

Scott oversees the BusinessVoice Creative staff and voice talent, serves on the agency’s marketing team, and handles special creative projects. He’s also an instrumental member of our key and major account management teams. In his spare time he continues to work as a freelance voiceover talent and as the staff announcer for WTOL-TV, the CBS affiliate in Toledo, Ohio. He and his wife - also a voiceover talent - live in the Michigan countryside with their three children.
